SS Rebel Swim Girls made a splash tonight with a WIN over Tecumseh High School.  Third place finishes were won by Abbey Gross in the 200 IM, Shelby Harpenau in the 100 Butterfly, Jessica McGinnis in the 100 Backstroke and Minami Yamane in the 100 Breaststroke.  The 200 Medley Relay (McGinnis, Yamane, Gross, Harpenau) and the 400 Free Relay (Brianna Scherer, Cynthia Scherer, Hannah Faubion, Gross) also finished 3rd. 2nd place spots went to Faubion in the 200 Free, Maria Rust in the 50 Free and Brianna Mallory in the 100 Free.  The Blue Ribbon 1st place winners of the evening were Maria Rust in the 100 Butterfly, Hannah Faubion in the 100 Backstroke and Gabby Blanchard in both the 200 IM and the 100 Breaststroke.  The 200 Medley Relay (Faubion, Blanchard, Rust, Mallory) and the 400 Free Relay (Mallory, McGinnis, Blanchard, Rust) both earned 1st place as well.

Despite the team results several SS swimmers had individual wins and personal bests. Wyatt Morris (SR) took 1st in the 100 Butterfly. Dane Sitzman (JR) got 1st in the 100 Backstroke and 1st in the 50 Freestyle with a PB of 23.34. Gabby Blanchard (JR) got 1st in the 100 Breaststroke and 1st in the 200 Individual Medley with a PB of 2:48.84.

Boys SS 51 - THS 86.5 - NEDHS 111.5

A few of the swimmers had some individual wins and personal bests. For the boys, Dane Sitzman finished 1st in the 50 Free with his personal best time of 23.78. Sitzman also finished 1st in the 100 Backstroke with a personal best of 1:03:52. The girls 400 Freestyle relay team also got a 1st place finish. That team is made up of Maria Rust, Gabby Blanchard, Jessica McGinnis and Brianna Mallory.
