South Spencer Boys & Girls Swim teams lost to Evansville’s FJ Reitz.

Despite the loss, many swimmers knocked some time off of their individual events. South Spencer’s girls relay teams had strong finishes. The 200 Free Relay team consisting of Jessica McGinnis, Alysia Thompson, Brianna Scherer and Megan Rapp dropped an impressive 16 seconds off of their best time. The 200 Medley Relay and the 400 Free Relay both made up of Brianna Mallory, Maria Rust, Jessica McGinnis and Gabby Blanchard came out with 2nd place finishes.
Two of South Spencer’s Boys swam away with 1st place finishes tonight. Senior, Josiah Greene, was first by 6 seconds in the 100 yard breaststroke. South Spencer’s other Senior swimmer, Wyatt Morris, sprinted to a first in the 50 yard freestyle.
